Today we are talking about “Arte come rivelazione” exhibition in Gallerie d’Italia, Piazza Scala, in Milan.
More than 70 artworks by one of the most important art collection of the second half of the twentieth century.
The collection was born in the late sixties from the passion for art of Peppino Agrati, with Luigi conceives the collection as a personal vision, untied by fashions and market trends.
Thanks to the intense relationships established with the artists and the attendance of the most important exhibition of the international artistic scene, the collection often receives research with great precocity that will be recognized only later as fundamental moments of the art of the second half of the twentieth century; it also proposes an interesting and original dialogue between the most advanced developments of Italian and European art from the Fifties to the Eighties and the contemporary international developments, with particular attention to the American currents of the two decades of the Sixties and Seventies.
On show works by Fontana, Manzoni, Burri, Kounellis, Christo, Rauschenberg, Basquiat, Warhol and many more.
